10 years after running IT workshops in an entrepreneurial program in Samfya District, we’re now working with one of the graduates to raise the roof in their school.

On 9th July 2001 six publishers signed the statement of intent that led to the development of Hinari, which provides developing countries with free or low-cost access to academic content.

Aptivate have been involved in its development since 2006.

We all thoroughly enjoyed Apticon last week. It was great to see old friends of Aptivate, meet some new people and have most of our team together.

From the start we have been focused on the appropriate use of IT for international development. We are now working with a whole host of clients and partners around the world and have done some amazing work!
